A monthly event organized by the GreenScene of Coastal Georgia. Held on the THIRD WEDNESDAY of each month at the beautiful Village Creek Landing venue on St. Simons Island, our Eco-Lecture Series presents a new guest speaker each month to present on an educational, environmentally focused topic.

About the event
Rachael Thompson is the Executive Director of the Glynn Environmental Coalition, whose mission is to assure a clean environmental and healthy economy for the citizens of coastal Georgia. Since the release of the Draft Proposed Plan for oil and gas exploration along the Gulf and Atlantic Coasts, organizations state-wide have been working hard to build the #dontdrillGA Coalition to protect Georgia’s coast.
Come learn more about the draft plan that was released, what the coalition has been working on, and what you can do to help!
Eco-Lecture begins at 6:00 PM, but feel free to come early (at 5:30 PM) to enjoy beverages from the bar! This event is FREE! Tell your friends!
